Neumarkt - über 800 Jahre belebte Geschichte
Neumarkt, erstmals 1189 urkundlich erwähnt, zählt heute rund 5.400 Einwohner:innen. Das Dorf ist 25 km von Bozen und 34 km von Trient entfernt. Zum Gemeindegebiet gehören neben dem Hauptort Neumarkt auch die Fraktionen Vill, Mazon und Laag mit dem Weiler St. Florian.
Neumarkt zählt zu Italiens schönsten Dörfern und ist darum Teil von "Borghi piú belli d'Italia". Das Neumarkter "Museum für Alltagskultur" ist ein einzigartiges Museumsjuwel und erzählt von Neumarkts belebter Geschichte.
In der großen Fußgängerzone im historischen Ortskern finden Sie zahlreiche Bar's, Restaurants und viele tolle Shops. Neumarkt hat ein eigenes großes Freibad, den Kinderspielpark "Schlafender Riese" sowie ein Pferdezentrum und eine ganzjährig geöffnete Eishalle. Mit Zug und Bus stehen gut getaktete öffentliche Verkehrsmittel zur Verfügung. Neumarkt liegt zudem direkt am Radweg, der entlang des Flusses Etsch verläuft.

Egna, menzionato per la prima volta nel 1189, conta oggi circa 5.400 abitanti. Il paese dista 25 km da Bolzano e 34 km da Trento. Oltre al capoluogo Egna, il comune comprende anche le frazioni di Villa, Mazzon e Laghetti con l'abitato di San Floriano.
Egna è un borgo bellissimo e per questo dal 2014 fa parte dei “Borghi più belli d'Italia”. Il “Museo della cultura popolare” di Egna è un gioiello museale unico nel suo genere e racconta la storia vivace del paese.
Nell'ampia zona pedonale del centro storico si trovano numerosi bar, ristoranti e molti negozi di qualità. Egna dispone di una grande piscina all'aperto, di un parco giochi per bambini “Il gigante addormentato”, di un centro ippico e di un palaghiaccio aperto tutto l'anno. Paese ben servito da mezzi pubblici (treni e autobus).
Egna si trova direttamente lungo la pista ciclabile che costeggia il fiume Adige.

Egna, first mentioned in a document in 1189, today has around 5,400 inhabitants. The village is 25 km from Bolzano and 34 km from Trento. In addition to the main town of Egna, the municipality also includes the hamlets of Vill, Mazon and Laag and St. Floriano.
Egna is one of Italy's most beautiful villages and is therefore part of “Borghi piú belli d'Italia”. The Neumarkt “Museum of Everyday Culture” is a unique museum jewel and tells the story of Neumarkt's lively history.
In the large pedestrian zone in the historic town center you will find numerous bars, restaurants and many great stores. Neumarkt has its own large outdoor swimming pool, a children's play park “Sleeping Giant” as well as an equestrian center and an ice rink that is open all year round. There are good public transport connections by train and bus. Neumarkt is also located directly on the cycle path that runs along the River Etsch.
